The department of Bengali of Commerce College Kokrajhar was started in the year 1985. Dr. Debasish Bhattacharjee (MA, M. Phil, Ph. D) is the only faculty of the Department. The department is imparting knowledge of Bengali language and literature to the students of Higher Secondary (Commerce & Arts) and B. Com students in UG level. The department also extends it’s support and cooperation to PG in Bengali through GU-IDOL.
