Department of Management

Management is an integral part of commerce education. It is one of the core subject of commerce stream. The management department came into existence with the establishment of the college. Since it’s founding the department has been serving the student community with dedication and sincerity. The management subject is beneficial as well as essential to all the businesses and entrepreneurs. It teaches the nitty gritty of running an organization- be it business or any other organization. The department has successfully spread the idea of entrepreneurship to many budding entrepreneurs and business minded people, thus benefitting an individual as well as society and also contributing towards the economic development of the nation. The department consists of three faculties namely Mr. Alit Sen Gupta,HOD , Ms. Sonia Brahma and Mr. Uday Kumar Shome. The department offers courses at H.S.,B.Com, B.B.A. and M.Com levels. The department also extends its services to GU-Idol.
